Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is starting a community garden at Bradford elementary to benefit our students and community. We are in need of some tools to assist us in this process. We need a wheelbarrow, shovels, gloves, stakes, and some kneepads.

In order to start the process of planting and growing our garden, we need these tools to be successful.

This garden will create a sense of pride and community at our school. Students will have the chance to help plant seeds, tend to the garden and pick produce from the garden. Not only will this benefit students during the school year, but will also continue to be cared for by students and community members over the summer. We are hoping the garden will continue to thrive over many years.

Help us fund this project to create a community garden that will bring much joy and benefit to students as well as community members. Our school is in a Title one area and in a low income area in Pueblo. Your donation will mean so much to us!
