Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will have the opportunity to learn by practicing the skills taught. They will learn about the pros and cons of different plants and pests. With the planter boxes, soil, and gardening tools, they will gain a better understanding of their ecosystem and the animals that surround the environment. In addition, they will learn about which plants work well together and will do not. Also, how to create a better growing environment for their new friends - the fruits and vegetables they will learn to love and appreciate their worth.

As they learn, they will apply their lessons by selecting plants, planting them, and learning how to care for them.
