My Project
My students have started working in the friendship garden. The products are some tools they need to work in the garden. The goal of this project is to develop and maintain a beautiful space while teaching my students about gardening. It is also showing the students that you can use gardening as a mental break and that when you plant things, they can grow to be beautiful things.
My students have worked hard so far, knowing that they will be a part of the legacy of the garden and not what they will get out to bring home.
They have enjoyed learning about plants, what needs to be done to prepare the soil, and planting the plants.
