My students currently have classes on baking and cooking, as well as my life skill students. My goal with my classroom library is to offer a variety of content for all of Home Economics above and beyond what we cover in class. This includes cookbooks, but also how-to books on finances, design, and sewing.
A part of students knowing how to cook food is also connecting food to the farm.
For this project, I am seeing gardening books to add to our Home Economics classroom library. These books are available to students to browse during spare time in class and to sign out to take home.
