Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The primary objective of this project is to maximize the benefits of our outdoor space that students can use. I will use new materials to supplement our PLTW science planting unit.

By providing students with outdoor planting materials, I hope to enhance their learning experience by allowing them to connect with nature and learn through hands-on activities.

By supplementing our science program with this outdoor learning opportunity, I hope to foster a love for science and inspire students to pursue careers in STEM fields.

These planting materials including the Hydroponics Growing System Garden Kit, seed kit, hoses, gloves, and gardening tools will help equip and provide a space for my students to engage in collaborative and cooperative learning. Students will be able to work together to plan and execute planting projects, and learn important skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Overall, this project has the potential to greatly benefit my students and create a positive impact on their academic and personal growth. I am excited to see the impact that this outdoor planting unit will have on my students and look forward to their continued success.
