Garden Supplies and Decorations for Our Room

Help me give my students a planter, seeds, and soil for a salsa garden. We are also wanting some new decorative materials to brighten up our room.

My Project

We are wanting to add a growing station in outside of our classroom. This will allow the students to plant, water and watch our salsa garden grow. This will meet a goal of mine incorporating more earth friendly projects in the classroom this year.

One goal of growing plants is learning about the different soil types and how it affects the way plants grow.

We can also ask ourselves the questions. What soil is best for seeds? How do seeds grow? Can seeds grow in sand? Does the type of soil affect how fast a seed grows?

We can also learn about photosynthesis and how the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water. Plant photosynthesis generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a byproduct.

My students are special because they are so curious about learning. I want to give them every opportunity to dive into education and want to know more.

I am always looking to improve the look of our classroom. Getting new materials will help brighten up our classroom for the end of school.
