This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help create a garden that our students can help grow. The beds will give the students the space to plant the flowers and vegetables that they want. They can also plant whatever seeds they are growing in their science class. The garden lets students see the whole process from seed to full fruit/vegetable. Students get to eat what they have grown.
Gardens build character.
Students learn so much from a garden, from how to grow food, to taking care of the soil to wateing it and weeding it. Students become responsible and aware of the beauty that a garden holds.
