This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since our garden projects have started, we have had others want to come and help. With small resources, it is sometimes difficult to have they things we need. Our students and those that come from other classes to help need more ways to water our garden areas.

In order to have success, we must have items to help us be successful.

With the soaker hose we will be able to water our raised garden beds better. The hose splitter will allow us to add more hose in order to water the rest. The stakes will hold down the hose. All these things will help our garden be more successful.

It is so wonderful to see the students be able to pick some of the things we have raised and just eat it out in the garden.

We have more students that want to come and help daily, but we just don't have everything we need in order to grow the area. These items will help with that.
