My Project

We are so excited to reimagine our outdoor learning space at our school. The past few years have brought lots of changes to our building with a new construction project to be completed this summer. The kindergarten and first grade classrooms want to plant our own garden sanctuary to foster a deeper connection to the natural world.

Our hope is to plant herbs and root vegetables for students to harvest and taste in the fall.

This will create a connection between classes as we plant together in the spring and share the harvest in the fall.

The students are especially excited to have a large picnic table to eat together outside. We will use the table as a home base for outdoor learning and writing.
