Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The supplies that I am requesting will help my students learn how to plant and grow a garden. They will be able to make a difference in the school community which in turn, will help grow their confidence in planting. They will learn how to take care of their environment and understand the different needs in our society. It is very important to help them feel accomplished as they are participating in the club. It gives them a sense of belonging to know that they are going to make a difference in the community. The goal for this project is to help them be able to learn how to plant and be able to get back to the community. My students are so excited about this amazing opportunity and I thank you for taking the time to read this and to give us a special opportunity. Thank you so much.
