This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school has a garden that we started a few years ago. We are starting over this year in hopes of being able to harvest our crops this year. I am teaching students the importance of taking care of things. The excitement that my students have to grow things and help out around the school is my driving force behind the club.

My goal is to eventually take the vegetables that we have grown in our school garden and make them into healthy snacks for the students to eat and enjoy.

My students need watering cans, potting mats, seed storage, seed tray kits, and planter tags.
