My Project
The garden club needs plants for their garden! The students are excited to learn how to plant and grow their own fruits and vegetables. This is a skill they can use for the rest of their lives.
Gardening provides real-world experiences and could help students become interested in science fields related to plants.
Besides plants, the students grow friendships with other like-minded children. Gardening also teaches responsibility as the plants need constant care and attention. Research shows if children are involved in growing vegetables and fruits, they are more likely to eat them!
