My Project

As a literacy specialist, I often work with high school students who have struggled with literacy skills for a long time. My students often specifically struggle with finding the right words to portray a message both in the classroom and outside the classroom. In my request, I've specifically asked for card decks that provide real-life situations where students will need to advocate for themselves and others and exercise critical thinking skills. Flexible classroom seating and games that build literacy will help my students build foundational skills and reconnect to the fun of learning.
