Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Esports is a new subject at our school. One of the things about eSports is that it allows any student to participate and succeed. Remedial students can compete on par with my more advanced students. This provides an environment where skill levels don't matter, and students engage with others with whom they may not otherwise have contact. It is a highly integrated activity.

Esports also engages students in an activity that can easily be expanded to include career options that might not be considered.

With the Playstation 5, students can explore gaming design, programming, and build a marketing plan for their game. The marketing plan is a comprehensive project that involves writing a press release, establishing a pricing plan, product placement, and creating an actual advertisement. The final product is a display of the different parts of the marketing plan that students' peers grade.
