Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school has a student population of over 1,000 from several elementary schools in our area.

But making a connection, making friends, or not feeling lonely is still hard for many of our students.

I'm working with one of our counselors on this project and with these materials we will help students make those connections and friends to help them not feel lonely and be happier in school. Students can help each other by promoting wellness and having an impact on someone who may be feeling unwell (physically, emotionally, or mentally). Each giant game needs to be played by at least two students during lunches with students from across different classrooms, this will make them engage and make the connections that can lead to making friends and that leads to improving wellness.
