This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sometimes the best conversations—and the strongest connections—start over a simple board game.

We are creating a space where students can step away from screens, reconnect with peers, and engage in meaningful, face-to-face interactions.

This tech-free zone will promote social skill-building, light-hearted competition, and moments of joy. Whether students are managing anxiety, stress, or just the pressures of daily life, gathering around a game with friends and trusted adults can offer a mental reset. It’s a chance to laugh, connect, and recharge—in the most human way possible. And this generation can learn the power of board games.
