We are going to be using this money from this amazing organization to help fund all the things that 3rd grade needs to be successful this year, plus a few extra things to help with making our classroom more well-rounded and make our classroom more inclusive as well as having a higher level of social and emotional empathy for our peers around the school. These games, basic classroom supplies, art supplies, STEM kits, etc. Games will be used to help them retain vocabulary, spelling, as well as giving them extra ways to manipulate math. The headphones are to ensure that students can hear and record their fluency passages to prepare them for state testing. Paper is for writing and math. Pencils we need everyday for everything. The books will help open their minds to the world they live in. We need a good pencil sharpener so the students can keep up their writing. I can not wait to see how wonderful these things will be to help our students be successful and well-rounded young ladies and gentlemen.
