My Students

Our school is extremely diverse and that makes us stronger. We rely on each other for support and we are proud of all of our accomplishments. We are happy, energetic, and eager!

No matter what, we know that we, as a band, are a family.

We know that we have each other's backs and when we are upset, frustrated, or need a listening ear, we can go to the band room and collect ourselves. Music, for many of us, is our outlet and happy place.

My Project

I am asking for sets of Jenga, Connect 4, and a giant Jenga for my band program. I recently attended a training where the teacher used these games, and added her own manipulatives to them to create games for her band students. The students were having the best time, and the learning taking place was incredible! I could not believe the level of engagement and achievement the students were demonstrating, and I want in on that action!

Music is fun, and playing games in band will be even funner!

I cannot wait to bring the fun to band, and your help will allow this to happen!
