This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Everyone knows the power of teaching students and meeting them where they are. Many of us know that one of the best ways for students to learn without realizing that they are learning is through play.
Both explicit and implicit skills and concepts can be taught and strengthened through play.
Board games that allow students to practice taught concepts in a fun setting not only allows them to build on skills, but gives the students an opportunity to "show off" their knowledge.
Please help me give my students yet another way for them to show how smart and awesome they are!
