My Project

Many of our families are economically challenged, which means students often lack the typical life experiences that help them build the background knowledge necessary for academic success. Nevertheless, they are very capable of learning and have a great desire to do so.

Who doesn't enjoy a board game or ga ood puzzle?

My students would rather solve a puzzle or play a game than work with a pencil and paper. Students need hands-on activities like puzzles and games to engage them during inside recess days.

Playing games and putting puzzles together helps students exercise their social skills. Playing games at school may be some students' first experience playing with partners or a group. These activities give students the opportunity to get to know and like each other. They build a classroom community.

Please help us get this party started by filling our classroom with puzzles and games that stir and grow our brains! My students and I can hardly wait for this project to get funded!
