My Project

In our one to one Chromebook classroom students can spend quite a bit of time looking at screens. Then along comes inclement weather and they are stuck inside during recess. I have brought games from home for them to play, but there aren’t enough to go around.

Students have been arguing over who gets to play chess during brain breaks.

I want to get another set and a bunch more games for them to learn and enjoy. Board games require logic and problem solving. Encouraging these skills during play with strengthen the same skills during academic learning.
