Games for the Social Emotional Win

Help me give my students indoor and outdoor games that encourage collaboration and allow them to practice social and emotional skills in a safe setting.

My Project

Due to COVID-19 students missed out on face to face social emotional learning for an extended period of time which has lead to students greatly struggling this year with peer interactions, collaboration, self-regulation and management. This deficits has spilled over into core classes and has had a negative impact on academic success for many students. Interventions will need to be put into place to help students catch up and get back on track. That is what this DonorsChoose project is all about.

Games allows students to take risks and collaborate in a safe environment.

These games will be incorporated into the students' Advisory (homeroom) and AVID (college prep course) class curriculum.
