Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our schools our moto is changing lives through education. In the special education program, we have a focus to not only academics but social skills, communication and speech skills and more.

The special education team would like to get games to help student have interactions with their peers to help with their life skills.

When playing games students are able to talk to their peers in an environment that feels safe when they would feel insure in other environments. Students are made to interact and build connections with others. Students will work on speech skills when playing games, having conversations with teachers and peers. We plan to use these games as a reward to support students social skills. We are excited to play and learn with students.
