This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The floor seats are great for flexible seating options. There are times where students want to sit on the floor and work and this gives them a comfortable seat. My class gets excited when they are able to use the seats because they sometimes don't like to sit on the hard ground.
The board games are for when the weather is not great for outside play.
Living in Arizona, the weather can be unpredictable. The past four weeks, we have already have three heat advisory days. The students weren't able to play outside and that hindered them. This gives them a way to burn off some of their energy on the days we have to stay inside.
