My students need Hot Dots cards, Bingo games, Match It!, I Spy, classifying, vowel, and other puzzles and games to create fun games for indoor recess and reading and math centers.

My Students

My students are some of the best. It is crazy to see how they have grown and what they have learned since the beginning of the year. But the school year is not over yet!

My students live in a rough neighborhood.

Our school is an underfunded charter school in Detroit. None of that means anything to my students though! They come to school hungry for not only food, but knowledge! They are striving for greatness every day.

My Project

Indoor recess is probably the worst thing not only for the teachers, but for the students being stuck in the classroom ALL day with no outside play time. But with Hot Dots cards, Bingo games, Match It!, I Spy, classifying, vowel, and other new puzzles and games, my students will be playing and learning at the same time! They will be able to play with their friends like they would during outdoor recess, but they will also be learning!

By funding this project, you will be giving my students different options of games to play during indoor recess, and for me to rotate into reading and math workstations.

My students love to play games, and a game where they can learn something is the best!
