This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Creating a learning environment that is fun and engaging is not always easy. However, games can be a great way to offer fun learning options to students.
Students deserve to experience fun and interesting learning options during the school day.
Utilizing games for English and Spanish literacy during stations is a great way to get students to work on skills that they are building but in a fun way which doesn't feel like learning. Additionally, many of the games build Spanish oral language skills which helps boost overall student comfort with speaking during class. Lastly, as the cold months approach and the prospect of indoor recess looms, having non-academic games are essential for kids that are looking for something fun to do since it is too cold to play outside.
