My Students

My 3rd graders are some of the most amazing kids. They are from a variety of backgrounds and have varied interests. Some students find learning easy, while others find it to be a struggle, but all bring their own strengths to make our classroom the awesome place it is.

I am so lucky to be a part of their lives and believe that they deserve every opportunity I can give them while they are with me.

My Project

Our school theme is choose kind, and each day, I strive to set that example for my students. Part of being able to do that is teaching them all about emotions, feelings, and how to work together.

These materials will give my students opportunities to work together playing games, and then talk about different emotions during our class meetings by using books they can relate to.

These days, it is so important to focus on our students' mental health, and my goal is to make sure they all know how loved they are and that their feelings and emotions are valid.
