Help me give my students learning games for centers and resources for science projects.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Miller's classroom raised $166

My Students
My students are from a rural, poverty-stricken town in central West Virginia. Many are being raised by grandparents or in foster care due to drug addiction in the community. Ten out of sixteen are below grade level in reading. Due to their deficiencies in reading, many also struggle in other academic areas. Although they seem to have it rough, they live life to the fullest. They are happy, energetic, loving and love to read. They always try their hardest and want to do their best.
My Project
Students learn more when the learning is fun. What better way to learn than with fun games and interesting science projects?
I am asking for learning games for literacy and review.
I would use these games in centers and end of the day review activities. Students would be having so much fun that they would not even realize that they are also learning.
I am also asking for some science materials for fun STEM activities. I have a vision of making magnetic powered cars and hatching quail eggs. I really think my students would love these activities and I would love to share the experience with you.
