Games and Organization

Help me give my students hands-on activities to practice 2nd grade math and reading skills, as well as help them with their organizational skills.

My Project

I have an amazing group of 22 students who are all eager to learn. I’ve found they learn best through the hands-on approach, so I try to use engaging centers in reading and math. I’ve chosen to purchase new games to add to my centers, if my project is funded.

Organization is important in my classroom.

I selected sit spots to give seating assignments on the carpet and at the teacher table. A classroom mailbox would allow kids to neatly file their papers that go home each day. Finally, we have 9 classroom iPads that are stored in a bucket. A organized station would help the kids quickly access the iPads for learning.

My goal is to provide engaging centers to enhance learning and instill good organizational skills they can carry with them through life. Please consider funding my project.
