This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recess is a time for students to move, play, create and gain a positive experience of community. Help me provide my students with games, sports equipment, activities and crafts to support this in both indoor and outdoor recess.

Outdoor time is crucial to students who are working hard each day.

We go outside for a 30 minute recess each day, unless weather prevents us. For a portion of students, this is the most outside time they see during the week. My students love to play soccer, basketball and football. I would like to have enough equipment for more than one game to be going on at a time.

My classroom also needs indoor recess and Fun Friday activities for those rainy days. Popular stations include games, beads and scratch art!
