This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a teacher in a rural county in Georgia where 100 percent of our students receive free lunch, I am reaching out to potential donors for Nintendo Switches to support our upcoming eSports team. Your generous donation will make a significant impact on our students' lives by providing them with opportunities they may not have otherwise had.

For many of our students, access to gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch is limited due to financial constraints.

By donating these consoles, you will be leveling the playing field and ensuring that all students have equal access to participate in our eSports program. This inclusivity is essential in empowering our students and fostering a sense of belonging within our school community.

Having Nintendo Switches available for our eSports team will open doors to a variety of educational and recreational opportunities. Not only will students be able to compete in gaming tournaments and develop their skills in a supportive environment, but they will also have access to a wide range of educational games that can enhance their learning experience. Additionally, participating in eSports can teach valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking, which are transferable to both academic and real-world settings.
