My Project
When playing board games students learn so many different skills such as reasoning, deduction, and problem solving. The games I choose are geared towards students having to make decisions quickly and to problem solve when an opponent makes a move that is disadvantageous to the player. I also included some cooperative board games where students have to collaborate to win the game.
Board games teach kids a variety of life skills while still having fun.
This year I have taught some new board games to my students, and there is a high level of engagement. I can see my students strategizing and learning how to play respectfully with one another.
