Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We use color-coordinated systems in our gym to help students (especially those with special needs) understand what to do and where to go when engaged in activities. We use the large buckets requested in this project as supply distribution points, throwing targets, and even as tower building blocks now and then.
This project will supplement our existing 70-quart bucket supply and allow us to expand the number of students we can involve in activities at one time.
I reached out to the company that manufactures the selected buckets, and they donated five of the ten colors we needed, which was amazing!! The remaining colors will help us group supplies and provide targets for five more groups.
