Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The end of the year is upon us. While most schools are getting ready for breaking classrooms down, gearing up for testing and taking inventory our students will still need to be engaged. I asked my scholars what activities they would like at the end of the year and it was unanimous.

Board games beat out paint and markers.

My students asked for Chess, Checkers, Sorry, Uno cards, manipulatives, and other friendly board games they could play with their classmates. The end of the year is a special time for us and I want to make sure it is enjoyable for everyone.
