This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am excited to share with you an initiative I am launching at our rural high school in Georgia. As a teacher, I am passionate about providing opportunities for our students to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. That's why I am introducing an eSports team to our school.

Unfortunately, many of our students face barriers to accessing the latest gaming technology due to financial constraints.

With 100 percent of our students receiving free lunch, it is crucial for us to bridge this gap and provide equal opportunities for all.

To kickstart our eSports program, I am seeking donations for two PlayStation 5 (PS5) consoles. These consoles will serve as the foundation of our gaming setup, offering an immersive experience for our students.

Introducing eSports at our school is about more than just gaming—it's about promoting teamwork, strategy, and critical thinking skills. It's about engaging students who may not be interested in traditional extracurricular activities and motivating them to excel academically and socially.

Your donation will directly impact the lives of our students by providing access to cutting-edge gaming technology. With your support, we can create an inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
