This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Title I school has one of the most competitive soccer programs in the area despite all of our economic challenges. My players are hard working, dedicated inside and outside of the classroom, and they put in the time to win year in and year out. We regularly appear in the championships in our area and we want to continue to grow and learn more about the game itself. We regularly play schools that have unending amounts of money flowing into their programs, personal trainers, and top-end equipment to work with.

In order to stay competitive we are in need of an iPad to help to run our recording equipment to utilize game footage to learn the game and improve.

We need the ability to film, review game film, and continue to learn how to create winning situations. My students deserve the opportunity to be able to continue to compete with schools that have more funds and access to more equipment to improve gameplay overall. We are asking for a chance to continue our march toward excellence and to help my players on their journey to playing at the college level.
