Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love playing games, competing, and receiving snacks. Teenagers seem to always be hungry for peer interaction and literally too. Learning to cooperate, communicate, and having fun while doing it through board games always brings smiles to their faces and fills the classroom with laughter. Giving snacks just because, or after a long day of standardized testing gives my students a little energy and gratitude for just being them.
In addition to board games, I am also requesting paper, but specifically colored paper for the reason that it helps distinguish assignments for students, helping especially those who have special needs.
As for requesting facial tissue, any teacher will tell you that whether winter colds or spring allergies, there is a constant need for facial tissue year-round.
