My Project
This year, my students have found a lot of joy building our sense of classroom community through games. At least once every other week, we take a break from the arduous tasks of high school English to reconnect with each other in a lighthearted way.
While I have several different games for students, I've found that the same activities can feel repetitive and less rewarding if overdone; this project will allow me to expand my gaming repertoire and continue to build social skills and emotional connectedness amongst my students.
All of the games selected are fairly fast-paced and require both group interaction and collaboration. They will be another avenue for my students to relate to each other.
