Remote Learning with STEAM Fun
Help me give my students the best experience for remote learning and summer school!
With the materials I requested I will create an engaging remote learning summer school adventure by gamification and disguise learning activities! These materials will assist me as an educator to better facilitate and lead engaging fun creative distance learning from my home.
Today's students are tomorrow's problem solvers, innovators and leaders. I believe everyone can create and innovate and that students can make a difference. My students come from low-income homes. They are hardworking kids who love project based learning. They enjoy science and STEAM activities.
Distance learning is continuing through the summer I need few supplies to help me teach from home. The materials would help me demonstrate ideas, stimulate creative thinking brainstorm sessions via virtual learning games and activities. The games and books will help make distance learning more engaging and exciting for my students. Many of my students can't afford new games. With the games that I have selected, students will be able to play together in a group Zoom meeting with me hosting.
My Project
These materials will help me play games with the students online via Zoom! These fun engaging games and stories that I can read aloud to my students will help inspire my students to stay engaged! The games are to help students unlock their creativity through disguised learning. Students will also be able to work together online while playing games and discussing their ideas while making connections with their peers despite distance learning format. Games like Brain Flip will help students think outside of the box and be creative innovative thinkers. STEM Family Battle Games helps students develop critical thinking skills. My students can't afford games like these but we can play them together online. Many of my students have parents who work and don't always have time or money to play games like these with their kids, this will give students an opportunity to learn, connect, and have fun all online in Remote Learning. We will continue to do STEAM activities & Project Base Learning with these materials all virtual learning. Be Game Changer for Remote Learning and contribute to my project!
