This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students' love of community and togetherness, their passion for their culture and the way they inspire me daily.

These table runners and backdrops will be used as classroom décor for this year's Black History Month Gallery Walk.

Students will be embodying African Americans who contributed positively to society and who have had a lasting impact on our lives. My students will educate the audience about the achievements and contribution of these individuals. Researching these amazing people will also be a learning experience for the students as well. The books requested will be used for February's reading and journal writing activities.
