Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In order to support our young scientists and mathematicians as they navigate middle school, we need some technological upgrades for our classroom. In order to allow students to improve their knowledge base and suit individual needs, we need to be able to work independently, as students are on different levels in both science and math, this provides scaffolding.

In creating the ability to work individually, students have access to social emotional learning with privacy.

This is important for growing their mental health, as well as academic growth. Additionally pencils and sticky notes provide a written way for students to submit questions and concerns when worried about their peers opinions. With classroom sizes of 35 students at a time, it is important that we are able to control the noise level within our classroom for those who are overstimulated as well as keep organized with earplugs. The materials provided will help all students as they advance in STEM and SEL engaged and organized.
