My Project
My kinder scholars are in great need of a new rug where everyone is welcomed to gather and learn. Our classroom rug has become worn and due to our classroom size it has become too small. We spend a lot of our time during calendar time learning on the rug and using hands on materials. We also use the rug for students to play with puzzles, read, and build with blocks. As a kindergarten teacher, I spend ample time sitting on the rug interacting with my students.
Help me fund a brand new rug to create a fun, clean, classroom environment where students are eager to learn.
The classroom rug will make our classroom more inviting for learners. The alphabet with a boarder around it helps see their own space and help them learn about respecting each other's personal space and boundaries. Students will be able to identify and find letters as they sit in different spaces on the rug.
