My Students

I am beyond lucky to teach the students I do. They come from different walks of life and even cultures in a small, suburban community. Many of the students face financial challenges but have managed to care for and respect one another over their years together.

These students are working toward becoming educators themselves.

They are positioning themselves for hard work and success in the future. In order to achieve the hefty goals set fourth by the program they are enrolled in, they will need financial assistance because many of them simply do not have available funds at home to pay for the requirements of the class.

My Project

One of the topics I cover in the Teacher Cadet course is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and we need books to supplement the course material.

The Fault in Our Stars is a great book to further explore the concepts outlined in Maslow's theory.

Earlier this month I submitted a project proposal that was I am so grateful was fully funded. However, when I submitted the project, I made a mistake that I didn't catch until the project supplies were ordered. I accidentally put one copy of this book down instead of the 15 I need total, so this is to make up for the remainder needed.
