This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We believe that this technology will significantly improve the quality of our students' science fair projects by providing them with the tools to perform in-depth research, analyze data, and present their findings in a compelling, creative manner. Right now we are working with outdated computers with very slow internet and not enough storage.

In today's technologically advanced society, it is an unfortunate reality that many students in Title 1 schools are being left behind.

This is due to a lack of access to the latest technology which is a critical tool in conducting comprehensive scientific research. As a result, our students are at a disadvantage, particularly when it comes to participating in science fairs, where thorough research forms the backbone of every successful project.

We hope to bridge this technological gap and provide our students with the tools they need to succeed! We hope to procure cutting-edge technology such as computers with internet access, science software, and digital microscopes! This technology will enable our students to access a wealth of scientific literature, analyze data efficiently, and visualize microscopic phenomena that would otherwise be inaccessible to them.

The primary goal of this project is to enhance the quality of science fair projects produced by our students. We are looking to increase student participation in science fairs due to improved research capabilities and foster a culture of scientific curiosity and independent learning among students.

The success of this project will be measured by an increase in the quality of science fair projects, a rise in student participation in science fairs, and a marked improvement in students' understanding and application of scientific concepts.
