My Students

I have 90 science students who will be taking their very first science SOL this year! They love the experiments we do in class. We have gotten to make oobleck, build an electromagnet, and build a scale out of Legos to practice measuring mass. Science is hard, but we have lots of fun learning hands-on.

We are from Pittsylvania County and are a Title 1 School.

We are hoping you will donate to our classroom to enhance our learning. Thank you so much!

My Project

My students need flexible seating options to improve their focus and to allow for us to have seating for small group instruction. These will also be used as a reward for students of the week in my class to be able to sit somewhere "fun and cool". Students can work towards earning having a stool or ball to sit on for the week instead of having to sit in their regular chair.

We also need models to study for our SOLS!

We currently do not have 3D models of cells. These models the students will be able to use hands-on to understand more about the structure of the plant and animal cells.
