This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I LOVE being able to explore science with my 7th graders. Many of my students are at-risk for not graduating on time. These students benefit from the concepts being presented in a variety of ways.

Many careers involve science and technology, so students should be able to experience the two, sometimes in combination with one another.

Students love the hands-on aspect of science, but there are some concepts that are can't always be experienced in that way. That is where technology comes into play!

My Project

There are so many good apps & websites to help students grasp science concepts without needing the complete hands-on experience. Like future doctors can experience medical techniques using technology, students can explore science activities that otherwise might not be available to them.

The iPads will replace some of our older technology and allow students to play review games, watch videos on difficult-to-understand concepts, create projects, and so much more!

Gone are the days of boring textbooks... replaced by interactive technology that gives students an endless array of opportunities to expand their science and technology skills. My goal is to prepare my students for the future to be a well-rounded individual!
