Do you remember being 4 years old? Or your own children being that age? If so, you'll recall the excitement that comes with everything they are exposed to! My favorite part of being a preschool teacher is being the first teacher to help them LOVE learning! My students are creative, thoughtful and curious about the world around them. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning but not every student learns and grows the same way - another thing that makes my students amazing!
We are unique in our needs and interest! Therefore, we incorporate various learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
My students are the reason I love my job! My goal is to give them all of the experiences I can and create lifelong learners!
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home" - they'll go straight to our Science and Discovery Center! We just need your help and generosity in getting everything through our door!!
My preschoolers love to learn through investigation and hands-on exploration!
These light tables will provide my students new ways to explore science; we learn about life cycles, the human body and of course, letters and numbers but using these materials will spark so much joy and excitement!
Students will be able to use these materials during small group instruction and especially during free choice time! I can't wait to see their eyes *light up* when we set these up in our classroom.
