Future Scientist Something's Floating and Baggie Bubbles Projects

Help me give my students - our young future scientists in Hawaii the colored Expos, chemicals, and apparatus to create their experiments: Baggie Bubbles and Something's Floating!

My Project

Our young scientists will be predicting on pink stencil notepads their hypotheses in colorful Expo pens with detailed data. They will be doing two experiments using vinegar, baking soda, measuring utensils, dish soap, baggies, food coloring, salt, cups, and stirrers to study chemical changes and reactions. These lesson plans are using "Something's Floating," "Elephant Toothpaste," and "Baggie Bubbles."

These assignments are based on fun and sometimes funny PBL (project based learning) and we couldn't do it without your support of funding for these supplies.

All of their data collection will be written on the pink notepads. They will draw on Expo boards with different colors what they picture will happen. They are middle schoolers so they like the erasable pens, they find them super cool. We are studying solids, liquids, gases, phase changes, and chemical reactions.
