My students need new, flexible furniture for our innoative learning commons.

A typical day in our media center is a flurry of activity. Students are learning, researching, writing, typing and practicing skills. But it's time that we transform our space to meet the needs of our students. We've already begun our journey into creating a MakerSpace and a building wall, but our work space is outdated.
Help me give nearly 600 students and teachers a phenomenal space for teaching and learning.
Today's learning spaces need to be clean and attractive, while promoting collaboration. We can't do that with clunky furniture from the 1960's! Our kids need to be able to move effortlessly from group to group, sharing with their classmates.
These students deserve the very best. And that is an exciting, inviting, 21st century learning commons. I ask for your help in beginning to transform our library space.
The first step in our transformation is to replacing old, outdated tables with easy moving flexible work space. I am requesting a mobile work table to be the center our new learning commons.
This table will be the first of more to come, but would be a great start to our transformation.
Students will now have the ability to move according to the type of activity they are participating in. Independent work can still be done, in addition to being able to collaborate with classmates on projects. This new table will not only be safer, but more aesthetically pleasing to our school community.
