My Students

I love teaching my student how to read! I love the excitement that they have for learning! I love to see how much they have grown as readers by the end of the school year! I love learning from them! I love showing my student new and exciting experiences while learning! Last year was my first year teaching the younger grades and it was when I realized that this is where I have always belonged! Teaching my students is one of my greatest joys!

My Project

I teach guided reading to small groups of students. My student love to go off and practice their books away from each other. They like to find quiet comfortable places around my classroom. It would be awesome to place these bean bags around my room for my students to sit and engage in reading.

These chairs would help my students foster a love for reading.

Most of my students need to move around a lot to keep their attention focused. So we often move all around during a lesson. We do whole group at the table. We stand up to play a game and we often look for a comfy spot to sit and do a reread of a book. These chairs would be an awesome addition to my classroom.
